A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I'm an artist from Liverpool who has rediscovered my love for painting after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in November 2019. I was halfway through my chemotherapy when the virus hit and changed all our lives. This is when I realised that my two children didn't own anything I had created so I wanted to create work they could be proud of.
I have been playing about with Glow in the dark paint and I love how it has a 2 phase aspect to it. While I'm painting I don't see the night time version until I turn out the lights so it's either a pleasant surprise or a total disaster but either way, I have loved the creativity that has gone into it.
I mainly use acrylic paints along with the glow in the dark paint but I'm experimenting with watercolour. I'm also playing around with different styles at the moment as I'm enjoying the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone.
You are welcome to join me on my art experience. I have a YouTube channel where I show most of my work being created in timelapse. I am also involved in an art abandonment project where a group of artists worldwide leave small pieces of art out for people to take home and keep. I post clues on my twitter account where my small pieces are left across the UK.
